In order to bring parents’ superiority into full play in terms of education and teaching, on the afternoon of 30th, December, at the assembly room on the first floor of the administration building, Primary Section of Anqing Foreign Language School convened the Parent Committee Founding Conference to positively mobilize more social force involved into education work. School leaders as well as 25 parent committee members attended the meeting.
The procedure of this conference was smooth and showcased a harmonious atmosphere. The meeting unveiled the curtain with self-introduction of committee members, who all expressed honor to be part of the committee and were determined to cooperate with Anqing Foreign Language School to play a part in the council.
Furthermore, Director Zhao Xinlong presented the status of development in Primary Section to all attendees. Also, Director Xu Degao led all participants to study documents entitled‘Ministry of Education’s guiding ideology regarding establishment of Parent Committee in middle& primary schools as well as kindergartens.’and ‘Ministry of Education’s guiding ideology with regard to strengthening home education.’Other than that, all members elected Director& Deputy Director of the Parent Committee.
In addition, guided by Chairman Wang Wenjie with the parent committee, all participants discussed and passed the constitution of Parent Committee in addition to her working system. In the meantime, parent representatives put forward some constructive ideas to our school.
In the evening, each and every one watched the 2016 New Year’s Day Parent Special Art Performance.
To conclude, this meeting reinforced communication, promoted mutual understanding, tied up family-school connection and laid a solid foundation in further home-school collaboration.
